Well here we go again, I took October off as I was enjoying wedded bliss but now that we’re midway into November I figured it was time to share some my favourite blogs again.
Coming back to regularly scheduled posting was harder then I expected. Four to follow is one of my favourite topics to post about as it gives me an opportunity to discover new sites and learn from them. As I was suffering from a bit of writers block I feel I benefitted from this months picks in particular – it’s hard to believe that I hadn’t come across any of them before.
So, without further hesitation here is this months four to follow:
BlossomBride.com – I discovered this wedding based website in the run up to my big day. My only disappointment is that I hadn’t found it sooner. Filled with tips and advice on how to go about your wedding it’s an amazing source for inspiration and guidance to planning your special day. This post on what questions to ask when booking your wedding venue is a guaranteed way to get your wedding off to the perfect start.
aoifeweefa.com – from fashion and makeup to parenting and travel, this lifestyle blog covers a wide range of topics. As someone who loves a good bargain, her 5 under 50 posts are right up my street. Actually while we’re here her Christmas movie countdown got me feeling especially festive… even though it’s only November and I hate when that happens.
melaniemay.com – a food and travel site, Melanie May provides detailed and honest feedback on her various trips around the world. Her guide to the Cologne Christmas Markets only added to my Christmassy feeling while writing this piece. For anyone planning a weekend getaway in Ireland or abroad I’d recommend having a goo at her sight for some ideas. You know what else her site can help you out with? Food. Be it recipes or restaurants Melanie May has you covered. While I couldn’t possibly pick a favourite dish I can confirm that this salted caramel sauce recipe will be making an appearance over the Christmas period (I’m sorry I know it’s only November – it’s just really on the brain today).
lipsticknleapordprint.com – a beauty blog that provides honest and detailed feedback on various products. Her favourites section is my go to as it lists her preferred brands. I’ve been wearing false eyelashes for the best part of the summer and so her review of Lancôme’s Monsieur Big Mascara came to my attention at a good time and has me seriously considering investing despite it being on the pricier side.
So there you have it, this months four to follow. I hope you’ll enjoy these picks as much as I did. As always if you can recommend any blogs to feature on this please let me know by contacting me directly or sounding off in the comments.
